√A1
About Shareware
The Shareware concept is simple..
"Try, and if you continue to use, buy".
Authors get to distribute their software
and users get to try the latest programs
at minimum cost to either.
The system will only continue to work if
user's register the software with the
author. Authors get little or no money
from retail sales of shareware. This sale
is usually a "disk copying fee" charged
by stores.
In most cases, registering software will
entitle the user to the most recent or
improved version of the software and
other benefits such as manuals, upgrades,
support etc.
Most software takes a great deal of time
and effort to write. Authors, of software
that people find usefull, probably deserve
to get something in return for there work.
Remember, a happy author will go on to
write bigger and better software tomorrow
and that will benefit everyone!

Introduction
Gamepad Pro!'95 (SNES Edition) is a DOS
based, Windows'95 ready interface which
allows you to connect up to Eight Super
Nintendo Gamepads to your PC.
SNES gamepads have 12 buttons, each
of which can be programmed to emulate
your PC's keyboard. This allows it to
be compatible with most available DOS
software. Windows'95 drivers are currently
being written and will be offered as a
FREE upgrade to all registered users.
The range of Gamepad Pro! adapters
are designed to overcome problems
associated with Analog joysticks and
gamepads. For example, 1) a lack of
buttons, 2) the limit of two joysticks,
3) unreliable movement and 4) constant
recalibration.
SNES Gamepads are plugged into the PC
via your parallel port. This leaves the
gameport free for your analog joystick
and provides you with a new, responsive
digital gameport you didn't know you
had! Use of the parallel port enables
Laptop owners to connect gamepads to
their PC's for the first time!
√A3
Setting Up
Procedure
a) Install Gamepad Pro! Software
b) Connect your adapter to your PC's
parallel port.
c) Connect your SNES Gamepad into the
SNES plug marked "1".
d) Start Gamepad Pro!
e) Go to the START-Setup window and
press the Auto-Config Button.
f) You should now be able to move the
mouse ptr around the screen with
your gamepad.
g) End of setup procedure.
Remember, this is a Beta version of
Gamepad Pro! Detailed instructions
will be release with the Shareware
and Registered editions.
√A4
Playing Games
Using Gamepad Pro! with your games is
very easy. You need to configure each
game you wish to run. Some samples are
provided in the Main Menu. Click on
them using your right button to edit
their properties.
Files
First you must tell where the games
Exe/Com or Bat file resides. This is
similar to setting up windows or any
menu system. You can use the 'Browse'
button if you need to search for, and
select a filename.
You can also give the game a name and
select an icon from the Icon Library.
Configuring the Gamepad
Each button on the gamepad can simulate
a key(or keys) on the keyboard. To
assign a key to a gamepad button, click
on the corresponding button and press
the required key. Simple. You can even
use 'multiple' keys or 'cycle' keys
(see the doom example).
√A5
Trouble Shooting
Is Gamepad Pro! Compatible with your PC?
